Jordan Peele recently appeared on Desus & Mero, where he discussed the differences between Get Out and its follow-up, Us, before being pitched by the comedic duo on several movie ideas they hoped to bring to life.
First, the duo pitches a movie called Spookybucks, where “two males from a borough in New York City…get a show off of their podcast and then they just spend the money that they get from the company…but the money’s haunted,” Desus says.
“Does the money that’s haunted buy you bad product?” Peele asks to which Mero replies “No, it’s like regular shit but then it turns bad.”
“Like, I buy a pack of Newports and I get cancer,” Desus says.
“That’s real life, that’s not haunted…,” Peele responds.
