Smurf G - Holiday

Sounds of the South take center stage with Smurf G’s new album ‘Arkannibal

FAYETTEVILLE, AR – Smurf G is a native of Camden, a small town in southwest Arkansas, on the banks of the Ouachita River – AKA “Queen City.” Smurf G has been in the Rap game for many years, working the underground circuit, mixtapes, singles, traveling, promoting, and hustling to manifest his vision. His lyrics reverberate a thick southern drawl that is intriguing as well as distinctive. That Deep South style is the cornerstone of the unique sound that Smurf G executes in his lyrically impressive music. His upcoming new album “Arkannibal” is a work of art that will enable Hip Hop fans all over the world to get up close and personal with him and find out what’s going on with this self-proclaimed “country boy” from Arkansas.

“I sound like a ‘country boy,’ just like my hit with Bun B. and Charlie Boy released in 2019 tells you,” Smurg G said. “My sound is original and I’m real with it. I don’t want to sound like anybody else. When you listen to the radio, everybody sounds the same. My southern dialect stands out. It is what it is. And I’m bringing the heat. I’m bringing that fire to your soul. When you hear my music, you’re gonna be like ‘Damn! That’s that dude from Arkansas. He’s straight jamming!’ Arkansas has been overlooked for too long, and it’s our time!”

Smurf G is ready to work with his stylistic contribution to Hip Hop that’s authentically stirring.

“I’m hype and I’m ready to ‘show up and show out,” he said. “The barriers gotta come down. Watch for G Entertainment because Arkansas has so much talent – so many diamonds in the rough. Arkansas’ ready to stand up!”

“Arkannibal” features the single “Holiday,” a show-stopper with a new sound that sets the momentum. The upbeat vibe encourages family, friends and get–togethers, and Smurf G says it’s not restricted to one occasion because it’s an inspirational movement. “Holiday,” he said, provokes everyone to “treat every day like a holiday.”

“You never know what tomorrow may bring, so live everyday like it’s your last,” he said. “Especially in these uncertain times and with all that we are dealing with daily in this season.”

“Go and Get It” is another hit on the album with a pounding beat and lyrics to motivate the listeners to “get up off ya’ ass and go get it by any means necessary … just make sure you’re smart in your mission.”

“Push It,” which features Dallas-based artist Enchanting, is another single from the highly anticipated album that’s best described as a club song with a ton of energy.

“It’s impossible to sit this one out,” Smurf G said.

True to the rhythm of the entire album, this masterpiece magnifies Smurf G’s talent and allows him to continue grinding his way to higher levels as he solidifies his position in the game.

“Arkannibal” is currently available across all streaming platforms, and Smurf G said that he’s working on even more extraordinary music to be released later this year.
