On November 1st, 1988, Slick Rick released The Great Adventures of Slick Rick, one of the greatest rap albums of all time.
This week is the 30 year anniversary of the album. To celebrate, Slick Rick has a bunch of goodies for fans. The iconic rapper has announced a special 30th-anniversary edition of his debut.
The reissue includes a remastered version of the album, as well as four demos and a new track called “Can’t Dance to a Track That Ain’t Got No Soul.” You can also cop a nifty-looking hoodie.
More excitingly, however, is the release of a previously unreleased song from The Great Adventures of Slick Rick era. The song is called “Snakes of the World Today.”
