Shezi Rosewood Rises Above Trends with New Single, ‘Space Island’ As A New Roc Nation Artist

(Los Angeles, CA, June 1, 2018) – Shezi Rosewood (formerly J-Lie) has an important message for all those who have just had a breakup or are trying to forge a new life after romance is over. The new voice of music has signed a new distribution deal with Roc Nation, and is all set to release his new R&B/Soul single this summer, called ‘Space Island’, which will give solace through melodies and transport listeners into a new world by leaving the past behind.

Shezi Rosewood is giving music a new dimension through ‘Space Island’, which goes deep into the moments that engulf everyone just after a relationship has ended. That’s the time when one feels like isolating oneself from the situation and the rest of the world and give oneself ample free space. Shezi’s voice and the new sounds he has forged have the power to lift listeners out of their dynamic situation into a more comfortable and nurturing environment.

Shezi is growing as a musician and has just signed up with Rosewood Music Group as an independent artist to craft a unique sound that is a refreshing representation of the future sound of music. Not just a musician, he is also a fashion designer, creative entrepreneur and an influential lifestyle strategist. In just a short span of time, Shezi has built up a strong presence with 30K+ social media followers, 3M+ brand ambassador influence, and 250K+ online impressions. Sixty percent of his followers are female, and he is popular in the 15-45 age group.

Shezi adopted his musical journey while in Atlanta after his sister passed away, and went on to collaborate with artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Curren$y, Jim Jones, and Waka Flocka. He has gained recognition on platforms such as XXL, Perez Hilton, Huffington Post, and WSHH. Not limited to music, he has taken his brand into other territories such as fashion, entertainment, cannabis, business management and cross promotion with event planning. As a designer, he has created collections for high-end fashion brands during NYFW and LAFW.
Finding his real creative self is one of the goals for Shezi, who is molding his past experiences into new sounds, and his distribution deal with Roc Nation affirms his commitment to deliver content that goes beyond the prevalent trends in music.

“Space Island” and EP is set for release this summer, and everyone is invited to follow Shezi along a new journey.

Prentice Grant: From Vauxhall to Legacy — The Rise of an Independent Hip-Hop Force

The first time Prentice Grant realized music could change his life, he was just a kid in Vauxhall, New Jersey, staring at the TV.
