The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductions will be aired live for the first time, allowing viewers to catch the historic inductions of Missy Elliott, the first female Hip-Hop artist to be inducted, and the legendary DJ Kool Herc.
In years past, an edited version of the induction ceremony would air weeks later on HBO but this year's ceremony will be streamed on Disney+ with the edited version airing on ABC early next year. This year, Brandi Carlile, Dave Matthews, Elton John, H.E.R., Chris Stapleton, St. Vincent, and New Edition are also slated to perform along with this year's inductees, Sheryl Crow, Chaka Khan and Willie Nelson. Rage Against the Machine and Kate Bush will be inducted but will not perform.
As aforementioned, Missy's induction is historic, and the talented multi-hyphenate expressed her gratitude for the recognition.
