Pharoahe Monch is wrapping up 2018 in a big way, and just in time to celebrate his birthday (October 31). This past September, Pharoahe Monch sat down with Take It Personal Radio for a tribute episode dedicated to the Queens MC in which he revealed the release of his latest album since 2014’s P.T.S.D (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Inspired by the likes of Black Sabbath, Monch describes the upcoming release as having a “a heavy Rock influence. It’s hard as f*ck. It’s super bar’d-out; some of the of the songs don’t even have choruses. It’s everything that I’ve been wanting to do over the last eight years.”
Monch looks to continue the trend of shifting focus and challenging listeners with production partner Lee Stone, from his solo debut, Internal Affairs, who will lead at the helm of his upcoming record. In anticipation of the album drop and to honor his B-day, Pharoahe Monch debuts the music video for his single, “24 Hours,” featuring M.O.P.’s Lil’ Fame.
