Nuno1k Releases New Album “The Hardest Migo Inda DMV”

Junior Martinez, aka Nuno1k, is a dynamic and emerging voice in the Hip Hop and Rap scene, representing Washington, DC with pride. Born and raised in the nation’s capital, Nuno1k’s sound is a unique blend of gritty Hip Hop infused with his Salvadoran heritage, often mixing English and Spanish lyrics to create a fresh, bilingual flow that resonates with a diverse audience.

Growing up in a small uptown neighbourhood in Washington, DC, music was always a part of Nuno1k’s life. His early exposure to music came through family members who played in a Spanish band, sparking his interest in instruments and the creative process. His passion for rap emerged naturally as he and his friends would freestyle and throw bars in the air, shaping his raw talent. He counts legends like Lil Wayne, Tego Calderon, and Gucci Mane as some of his earliest musical influences, and he credits his upbringing in a single-mother household for instilling in him the grit and determination that define his music.

Nuno1k began his professional music career in 2020, driven by a deep desire to connect with listeners through his experiences. His first major milestone was staying consistent in his craft, which has allowed him to build a loyal audience. Known as one of the hottest Hispanic artists in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area, he has performed at numerous clubs and had the honor of showcasing his talents at SXSW, a major highlight in his career.

His sound—authentic Hip Hop with a splash of Spanish—reflects his life story, a journey from navigating the streets of DC to making a name for himself in the music industry. His lyrics often explore themes of his everyday life, drawing from the challenges and victories he’s experienced along the way. Motivated by the energy of those around him, Nuno1k creates music to inspire not only himself but also the people in his circle.

Nuno1k is preparing to drop his highly anticipated project, “The Hardest Migo Inda DMV,” set to release in October. Leading up to the album release, he’ll drop his single “Popeyes,” featuring Big Flock, a collaboration that highlights his growing influence in the DMV music scene. While he currently doesn’t have performances scheduled, fans can expect dates to be announced once the album drops.

Outside of music, Nuno1k enjoys spending time with family and friends, ensuring the people he loves are taken care of. When he’s not in the studio, you can often find him on the basketball court.
