Hey! I am new to this forum, but I am here to celebrate African Hip Hop. That being said, I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you about this African rapper in the U.S. I don't know who here has heard of Mr. International Money, but I have a feeling he is the next best thing to hit hip hop, culture, and the African presence in America.

If you listen to his MySpace, you get only a small taste of what he actually brings to the table. But, I have heard many of this guys tracks and like what I hear. He talks about life in Nigeria... growing up and the struggles found in the streets... and then, he talks about his journey and the battles he has found in the streets in America.

One thing I like about Money is that he is humble. This dude is about business, but he is still about the people. He is working hard to just give away mixtapes, while working diligently on his albums. But, this is not what I mean. He is involved in multiple Non-Profit ventures that will make the transition for Africans coming to America much easier, as well as to help facilitate struggling families in the Motherland.

Anyways, his MySpace is http://www.myspace.com/internationalmoneyman and I'm the third person on his top (for anyone who would like to add me)! If you are Naija or African, in general, get involved in the movement. I.M. is definitely the next African to take over American Hip Hop for Africa!
