Growing his cannabis empire, Mike Tyson has released a line of edible gummies, a reference to his 1997 match with Evander Holyfield.
Mike Tyson is biting back. After taking a leap into the cannabis industry in 2018, the boxing veteran is commemorating one of his most iconic moments with a new line of edible gummies. Called Mike Bites, the gummies appear to be in the shape of Evander Holyfield‘s ear after his 1997 bout with Tyson that resulted in him getting a chunk of his ear bitten off.
Tyson has since apologized for biting Evander’s ear, even being penalized with a $3 million-dollar fine after the rematch. In 2018, Tyson established his first cannabis sector, Tyson Ranch, a 40-acre cannabis ranch in California which also houses his podcast Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson. According to The Mirror, Tyson first pitched the idea to Holyfield in 2019 on the podcast.
