Mic Ruiz is one of those artists that is needed in the modern era of hip-hop. His honest approach to his music shines clearly in his new EP “Love.With.Love”. With fluid transitions across the 5 Song EP, and impeccable bar placement the rapper coming out of Maspeth Queens, New York has made his intentions for his music clear.

The first track on the project titled “Namaste” is a wonderful start to the symbolic work, and sets the tone for the smooth project ahead. “Yes bae, Im a different dude Im all that” is one of my favorite bars on the track, although it is filled with great lyrics. “California Highway” is the deepest track on the project, where Mic touches on his previous traumas and overcoming obstacles that were in his way. The true man shines through on this track, and we get a glimpse into the depth of his character. Anytime an artist is capable of doing this, It lends to their ability to connect with fans and people around the world.

Anyone who Is looking for a new artist or a new project to listen to, I suggest you give Mic Ruiz a listen. “Love.With.Love” is a well structured masterpiece that touches a variety of different themes. There is a track on this project for everyone. Make sure to give Mic Ruiz a follow on social media, and go stream “Love.With.Love” on SoundCloud today.
