Wu-Tang Clan has already established a Hip Hop legacy that will long outlast their respective lifetimes. With millions of albums sold and the respect of both their predecessors and successors, Method Man, RZA, GZA, Ghostface Killah, Cappadonna, Raekwon, the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Masta Killa and U-God have set a precedent for countless aspiring Hip Hop acts — including some of their kids.
On Thursday (January 14), 2nd Generation Wu — comprised of Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s son Young Dirty Bastard, Meth’s son PXWER, Ghostface Killah’s son Sun God and U-God’s son iNTeLL — released a surprise album called Hereditary, a nod to their familial ties.
Boasting 12 tracks and three bonus cuts, the Dock Street Records projecs features Wu-Tang legend Inspectah Deck, S.I.T.H. and Zeph McFly, among others. The albums follows the singles “7.O.D,” “New Generation” featuring Meth, “Soothe The Soul” and “Legacy Drip.”
