N33K was born Bryant Barnett on June 17th, 1994. The Richmond, Virginia - based Rapper/ Songwriter found interest in music from his early childhood. From his lyricism and word play to his ability to show off his more mellow and melodic side, the versatility in the young artist was evident. Well-known for His 1st major single on the radar "Adrenaline Rush," released in August of 2019 and "Options," released November of 2021 that both gained notoriety on Youtube, and other online platforms. Starting out at the age of 15 , pursuing a music career independently from the ground up was very difficult. His passion had always been sports (basketball specifically) before he got serious about music. His father encouraged him to stick with basketball during school but after an injury that caused him to miss some time away from the court, he continued experimenting with music. His passion for music grew at a fast pace and perfecting his sound did not come overnight. He would spend long nights in the studio going through beats and writing choruses and verses. He would later become part of a group called "The Overgrind" (T.O.G) with another artist that carried the same drive as he did, releasing their first joint mixtape on soundcloud called "Overgrind No Sleep." Together, they performed around their cities, continuing to collaborate on almost every song they put out, dominating the underground scene for years until the other artist in the group, known as "E-MO-Z," stumbled upon some legal issues and was arrested and forced to face time in prison . "It was definitely a setback for us but things happen.. I had to re-strategize," says N33K. Overtime, they became a dynamic duo so it took an adjustment for N33K to realize it was now all on him to keep the momentum going. He took some time away from releasing music to learn the business side of the music industry, knowing that the independent route can be long but worth it in the end. 2019 was the year that he decided to take his songs to all digital platforms like Spotify, Apple music, Itunes and more, in order to increase awareness for his music and brand. The upcoming artist's future looks promising as he continues to consistently release new singles for his fans with the possibility of many new projects to come. Staying true to himself is what he believes will help him navigate swiftly
