It's about time. Music legend Mary J. Blige is preparing for a career milestone as she headlines Madison Square Garden for the first time ever. The sold-out April 10 show will be available via live stream, allowing fans worldwide to experience this special homecoming for the Bronx native.
The epic concert serves as the crowning jewel of her “For My Fans” tour, which features supporting acts Ne-Yo and Mario. The MSG performance promises to deliver Blige’s signature hits and some special surprises.
“Playing at Madison Square Garden has always been a dream of mine,” Blige said in a statement. “I mean, it’s every artist’s dream, but I grew up in the Bronx. This is my home. This moment really feels like a homecoming and a truly surreal moment. Playing for the crowd at MSG, and being able to amplify that through this partnership with Veeps, is a dream come true. I want everyone to grab their friends and throw a watch party. Sing and dance and have a blast — this one is all for my fans.”
