It turns out LaRussell and Jay-Z’s partnership will extend far beyond the Super Bowl.
The Vallejo rapper announced that he has signed a record deal with Roc Nation — the hip-hop mogul’s label that also represents Rihanna and Megan Thee Stallion, among others — during an appearance on Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” on Wednesday, Feb. 4.
“‘I’m From the Bay’ is going to radio,” LaRussell declared, referring to his 2025 hit song. “I’ve never been able to get to radio. You know, it’s just a different system. As soon as we agreed like, ‘Man, let’s work,’ they were instantly like, ‘We believe in this record, we’re willing to take it to radio.’”
