Kevin Ross’ “Love In The Middle” is Number 1 in the Country

R&B singer, songwriter, producer, and performer Kevin Ross’ latest project, Love Uptempo, dropped this Spring through his label, Art Society Music Group (ASMG) / Empire. Leading the way is his standout single “Love In The Middle” which currently sits at #1 on the Mediabase chart and just climbed to #1 on the Billboard Adult R&B chart this week. Written and Produced by Ross and Grammy award-winning duo Louis York (Chuck Harmony and Claude Kelly), “Love In The Middle” is a feel-good anthem that captures the push and pull of modern love. With its infectious beat, soulful melody, and Ross’ signature vocals, the track finds balance in the ups and downs of relationships.

Since founding Art Society Music Group in 2019, Ross has taken complete creative control of his music, with every release building on the last. He has four consecutive Top 10 hits on Billboard R&B radio. His 2021 album, Drive 2, hit #1 on the iTunes R&B/Soul chart. Ross is also the only indie R&B Artist in history to have two songs in the Top 10 on R&B radio simultaneously. Kevin Ross is currently on a national tour, with tour dates HERE.

“It’s crazy how easy it was to work with Kevin in the studio. The chemistry was just there immediately. He knows what he’s doing, he knows his voice, he knows R&B music in a real way.  “Love In The Middle” is the magic you get when three friends lock-in to make a timeless love song that the people can still dance and sing along to forever. “ – Claude Kelly

“It’s always a pleasure when the artist knows who they are and what direction they want to go in musically. Kevin knew exactly where he wanted to go so we explored and created something unforgettable. Love In The Middle is a special one.”- Chuck Harmony

Ross describes Love Uptempo as a project that goes deeper than love—it’s about time. “Time is the most valuable thing we have,” he explains. “It’s about time we kill, time we regret, time well spent, and time we forget. Life has its own rhythm, its own tempo, and this project is all about the pace we’re living at.”

Kevin Ross has been a force in R&B since his breakout in 2016, with hits like Long Song Away and “Looking For Love” climbing the Billboard charts and millions of streams under his belt. Over the years, he’s written for legends like Trey Songz, Toni Braxton, and Tank while building a standout solo career. He’s toured with icons like Babyface, KEM, and Maxwell, earning nominations from the Soul Train Music Awards, NAACP Image Awards, and iHeartRadio Music Awards.
