Coming from financial struggle it was very hard for Jlow TBH to gather funds for proper studio equipment. So he would then improvise and use earphone microphones to record. The quality wasn’t so good but he fell in love with generally hearing his own voice. Style and versatility improved as time went on as he would have freestyle battles in high school. If a instrumental came on he was always open to do a freestyle. Extremely high passion for music as it was his escape from reality.
