Jaz Vernon is a singer-songwriter/producer from New York City. Sometimes enigmatic, his free-flowing music dances around ambient R&B that effortlessly sifts through melodies, allowing listeners to lose themselves in the music. With early Influences like Donelle Jones, Jamie Foxx and Brandy to Frank, PartyNextDoor and SZA, Jaz has developed and fine tuned a sound that is his own.

Jaz learned at an early age to play the piano by ear as well as the trumpet and the drums. Having parents hailing from Nigeria and Trinidad, a career in music was not at all part of the standard "get a degree" and become a Lawyer or Doctor life path of success but Jaz decided to go against the grain anyway. His self-released “Iss All Good” which was released back in 2018, reflects some of the 90’s R&B melodies he is inspired by while keeping up with the modern music of today. With intentions to touch millions of people globally, Jaz only hopes to be as great as the 'Greats’ and as pure and genuine as those who have been recognized for their craft in such a competitive industry.

In July 2019, Jaz Vernon was featured on Hot97's DJ Saige's debut single "Hit My Line." Which debuted over the airways on Sway in the Morning, Shade 45 and Hot 97.

In early 2020, Jaz released his latest singles “Pace” & “Either Way" preluding to his upcoming EP. After having to push the release date back multiple times due to obstacles most Independent Artists face, Jaz and his team were finally able to lock in a date.

With his Hiatus from releasing music coming to a much needed halt, Jaz’s long awaited Debut Ep will be released early January 2023 which will be the beginning of something very special.
