Following news that Louis Farrakhan has been banned from both Facebook and Instagram for being “dangerous,” rappers Jay Electronica and Snoop Dogg have spoken out against the ban, with the latter even threatening to boycott the two social media platforms.
“So, Facebook and Instagram banned Minister Louis Farrakhan. I want to know for what,” Snoop said in a video uploaded to his Instagram account. “All he ever do is tell the truth. But y’all gon’ ban him, though. Alright, what if we ban y’all? What if we stop fuckin’ with y’all, Facebook and Instagram? The fuck y’all gonna ban Minister Louis Farrakhan? For puttin’ truth out there? I stand with him. I’m with him. Ban me, mothafucka. Ban me, ’cause I’m gonna keep posting his shit.”
Electronica responded to the ban via Twitter.
“You (Synagouge of Satan {Rev 2:9} ) can ban The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan from social media, but you can’t ban him from the H E A R T S & M I N D S of ppl (of all races and nations) ALL OVER THE WORLD…,” the rapper wrote. “In the end, we will see who is banned and who is not by God, and no matter what you do…”
