On Wednesday, August 29th, Kanye West appeared on Chicago’s 107.5 WGCI where he discussed a number of topics including his controversial “slavery was a choice” comment and his recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! where the host asked the rapper – we’re paraphrasing here – why he believed Donald Trump cared about black people.
When Kimmel asked Kanye the question, he sat in silence. The veteran host then went to break. (Kimmel would later say that he went to break because the segment had already gone over.)
