The white Minnesota officer who fatally shot Daunte Wright will be charged with second-degree manslaughter.
According to a New York Times report, Kimberly A. Porter who has since resigned from the Brooklyn Center Police Department alongside the chief on Tuesday was arrested on Wednesday morning and she will be charged later in the day. If convicted she could face 10 years in prison.
Immediately following the incident, Porter who is a 26-year veteran on the force alleged she warned him she would use her Taser on him during a traffic stop with other officers.
