Introduction: Flash Horton, born on the US Airforce base in Frankfurt Au Main, Germany, embarked on a unique musical journey shaped by diverse influences and a passion for exploration. His early exposure to various genres, ranging from Hip-Hop and R&B to Neo-soul and alternative rock, laid the foundation for a versatile and dynamic musical career.

Early Influences: Growing up in August, GA, Flash Horton absorbed the musical diversity introduced by his parents and siblings. His father, a member of the US Army, shared the beats of Hip-Hop, Funk, and R&B, while his mother, serving in the US Airforce, introduced him to classic R&B and gospel. His sister expanded his horizons with Neo-soul and alternative rock, creating a rich tapestry of sounds that would shape his musical identity.

Teenage Exploration: As a teenager, Flash ventured into new musical territories, exploring Crunk Music, Alternative, and Punk Rock. His involvement in the high school marching band became a pivotal chapter, where he not only led the drumline to multiple victories but also learned to play guitar, piano, and other percussion instruments.

College Experience: While attending college, Flash continued to march on the drumline of North Carolina A&T State University, further refining his musical skills. It was during this time that he discovered a newfound love for DJing, inspired by close friends on campus. A transformative experience during a spring break trip to Panama City Beach introduced him to electronic dance music, leaving an indelible mark on his musical preferences.

Diversification and Professional Growth: Post-college, Flash Horton delved into producing and DJing parties and clubs, showcasing his versatility across genres. Today, he is a dedicated artist, immersing himself in various forms of dance music while staying true to his roots. His production journey has led him to explore and master genres he grew up with, drawing inspiration from both the sounds of yesteryear and the contemporary musical landscape.

Notable Achievements: Flash Horton's dedication and talent recently afforded him the grand opportunity to open for Cosmic Gate at The Fruit in Durham, NC. His commitment to pushing boundaries and embracing a limitless approach to sound sets him apart in the dynamic world of electronic music.

Conclusion: Flash Horton's musical journey stands as a testament to the power of diverse influences and a relentless passion for exploration. As he continues to produce and DJ across genres, Flash remains an artist unbound by limits, pushing the boundaries of sound and leaving an indelible mark on the electronic music scene. Bentley Records proudly acknowledges Flash Horton's commitment to musical diversity and looks forward to supporting his continued success.
