HBO Max reintroduces pay-per-call psychic reader Miss Cleo in a new documentary about her life, which will premiere on December 15.
HBO Max is reintroducing a ’90s psychic sensation in new documentary Call Me Miss Cleo. On Thursday (December 1), the platform unveiled a first trailer for the film, directed by Jennifer Brea and Celia Aniskovich.
Born Youree Dell Harris, the late psychic and tarot card reader was a spokesperson for pay-per-call service Psychic Readers Network. Through informercials, Harris built a cult following with her signature “Call me now” slogan from 1997 to 2003. The Psychic Readers Network was ultimately charged by the Federal Trade Commission with deceptive advertising, billing, and collection practices.
