E-40 is fresh off the release of his 27th album, Rule Of Thumb: Rule 1, and with it has shared a new video from the album, "Lift It" featuring Digable Planets legend, Ladybug Mecca.

Directed by Jae Smyth and produced by production legend Rick Rock, the upbeat track is a standout on the album. In addition to releasing the video, E-40 celebrated his high streaming numbers on Spotify.

"The most relevant O.G of O.G’s," he wrote, emphasizing his 100.4 million streams in 2023. "Still going strong. After a 3 year break still doing 100M + Thanks to all my fans for supporting from the beginning."

E-40, who also recently released his cookbook with Snoop Dogg, Goon With The Spoon, sat down with The Associated Press earlier this month for a conversation spanning his success and career.
