DJ Premier Announces Gods Of Rap II Tour With Nas, DMX, The Lox
Last year came the inaugural Gods of Rap tour that featured De La Soul, Wu-Tang Clan, and Public Enemy. Now, DJ Premier has confirmed that the tour is returning this year.
The Gods of Rap II tour will feature a new lineup: Nas, DMX, The Lox, and Gang Starr. Premier had previously served as the host for the tour, but now that role will be handled by Just Blaze.
Unfortunately, the shows announced so far are only taking place in the UK, with the rap groups hitting Manchester, London, and Birmingham in late April. It’s unknown if the tour will then expand to include European dates like the first tour. Tickets will be available to purchase on Januar 31 here.
