CORDAE MAKES HIS MOM'S DREAM COME TRUE WITH TOUCHING 'TINY DESK CONCERT' DUET

Cordae‘s debut on Tiny Desk Concert has made a lot of fans happy, but none more so than his mom.

As part of his 20-minute set on the popular NPR series, the DMV rapper performed “06 Dreamin” from his latest album The Crossroads, which sampled a song that his mother recorded in the mid ’00s when she was an aspiring singer.

Bringing the touching track full circle, Cordae brought out his mom, Jennifer Dunston, to perform her sections of “06 Dreamin” in a truly heartwarming moment.
