Chris Jenkins who goes by the moniker of Chrisjenkins is a multi-talented rapper who is ready to change the status quo of the rap industry. Born in Varnville, SC, and raised in Estill, SC the rapper is now based in Columbia, SC. His drive, focus, and tenacity have led him to become a relentless and emerging force in the independent hip hop circuit. Chrisjenkins is making music that is driven by a desire to motivate, inspire, and tell his story his way

Music is the vehicle by which he expresses himself. Having grown up in the Baptist church, he uses his experiences and musical acumen to create a unique sound. Chris cites icons such as Andre 3000, Frank P, J Cole, and Kendrick Lamar as pivotal influences in his music. He is also an avid admirer of James brown, Roy C, and Marvin Gaye as his parents would often play this music. This all culminates in Chrisjenkins producing a musical experience that is enjoyable, easy going but also authentic and grounded in reality. He is inspired by all forms of meaningful art and he has the innate ability to adapt to change. His overarching ambition is to make music that has a fun and creative edge. He is driven by the desire to change the lives of his family and friends through his gift. He also wants to impact lives through his music and to create a legacy that's different unique and memorable.

He is also an international songwriter who has written thousands of songs and jingles for artists and businesses. Chrisjenkins is also a renowned recording and mixing engineer. He has worked with various artists such as Trinidad James, Producer Neeko Baby, and numerous other artists and producers.

Chrisjenkins has multiple projects in his repertoire namely “TBWF (TheBroke TheWeird TheFresh)” (2016), “BLTN (Better Late Than Never)” (2018). He will be releasing his latest project a 5 track EP titled “The Josh Project that will showcase his innovative musical ideas as well as highlight his passion and love for music as an art form. The project offers innovative storytelling in which he explores various themes by delving deeper into the emotions that encompass the human psyche. The talented rapper is here to rep South Carolina and leave a meaningful and impactful legacy through his music.
