A takeover is an understatement for a group of Atlanta men that has defied the laws of rejection. Now partnered with HOT NOIZE, the world's newest mega entertainment company, the now conglomerate labeling company will surpass a ton of competitors with ease. BlackTop Worldwide, the newly-established music label from Georgia, has already drawn significant media attention, thanks to its elite talent roster, as well as its founders’ dedication to introducing fresh sound into the realm of mainstream music.

Early spring of 2018 will be the launch for upcoming mixtapes, trailers and music videos to gain established grounds with soon to be massive fan base!!! BlakTop’s name is an homage to its founders’ beginnings, which found them living a rough street life, hustling for their day-to-day survival in a harsh landscape that forced them to grow up quickly and face life’s adversities head on. The team ultimately came up with the concept of Blaktop as a means of leaving the hustle behind, through putting in the grind to secure a desktop job which would not only take them out of street life for good, but that would also allow them to use their combined creative talents to showcase some of Atlanta’s best rising talent.

Currently, Young Soda aka Joel Hill, from Birmingham, Alabama, is BlakTop’s lead artist, whose undeniable talent has already gained him a significant following in both states, while his influence appears to be growing fast on a national level, too. Another hot act on the label’s roster is Heemi aka Ja'Mon Thomas from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who has quickly earned his status as one of hip hop’s most promising artists to look out for.

“Our mission is for BlakTop to make a lot of noise through promoting what we believe are the bests new artists of their generation” said Mr. Francis Alphonso, BlakTop CEO. “During the next six to eight months, fans can expect a steady stream of new, exciting BlakTop releases, which are sure to change the conversation in contemporary hip hop.”

Any further developments concerning BlackTop talent acquisition and operations expansion will be communicated in future releases to the press.

Prentice Grant: From Vauxhall to Legacy — The Rise of an Independent Hip-Hop Force

The first time Prentice Grant realized music could change his life, he was just a kid in Vauxhall, New Jersey, staring at the TV.
