Born Arbie Glover IV February 11 1993 American recording artist, engineer and songwriter AyeJay Freez was always told that he had a gift. AyeJay has continued to grow and strengthen his brand since the release of his mixtape #2kthegoat last fall and garnered further notoriety for his versatility as an artist. As a team LGC has gained a strong online following as well as making invaluable connections at SXSW. AyeJay has proven not only to be a talented solo artist but just as talented of a leader, engineer, and performer.

Last Monday (April 24), the LASTGODCLAN captain AyeJay Freez released the new track “Catch22.” 2k’s latest is produced by scandi beats.

“Gotta couple hoes showin love/probably shown you in the club/I’m from the city where even the bitches know, they gotta keep the stick tucked/they don’t know, love need a crash course,/we just finna fuck until your voice hoarse,” he raps on the track

Catch22 is an ode to the past and a glimpse toward the future, and has no relation to the novel of the same name.

2k dropped the song in the midst of the Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti troll session but wasn’t swept under the rug by any many with streams coming globally.

The new music comes 8 months after 2k released his well received #2kthegoat mixtape and 4 months after he featured on producer Jay Sylve’s single Spaceship.
