Over the years, there have been certain groups in Hip-Hop who disbanded seemingly before their work together was finished. This was the case for Black Star, Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth, Little Brother and A Tribe Called Quest. Of course, the last example released their surprise final album in 2016. Few of those groups, however, parted ways at the apex of their popularity, like The Fugees.

Approximately 20 years ago, with awards, numerous platinum plaques, and the pulse of the mid-’90s Rap sound, The Fugees called it quits. While solo careers blossomed, fans were never given a follow-up to The Score.
