San Francisco's most reliable source of both words and liquor is featuring its most insane all-star lineup ever.

About the readers/performers:

Jonathan Lethem's latest novel is Dissident Gardens. He's also the author of Chronic City, You Don't Love Me Yet, The Fortress of Solitude, Motherless Brooklyn, Girl in Landscape, As She Climbed Across the Table, Amnesia Moon and Gun With Occasional Music. Motherless Brooklyn received the National Book Critics Circle award, and he received a MacArthur Fellowship in 2005. His story collections include How We Got Insipid, Men and Cartoons and The Wall of the Sky, The Wall of the Eye. He also wrote the Omega the Unknown comic, and wrote the nonfiction books The Disappointment Artist, Fear of Music, They Live and The Ecstasy of Influence.

Molly Antopol's debut story collection The UnAmericans was just longlisted for the National Book Award. The recipient of a 5 Under 35 award from the National Book Foundation, her writing has appeared or is forthcoming on NPR’s This American Life and All Things Considered, online at The New Yorker, and in many periodicals, including The New Republic, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, San Francisco Chronicle, Elle, Oxford American, One Story, Ecotone and elsewhere.

NoViolet Bulawayo is the author of We Need New Names (May 2013) which has been recognized with the LA Times Book Prize Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction, the Pen/Hemingway Award, the Etisalat Prize for Literature, the Barnes and Noble Discover Award (second place), and the National Book Foundation “5 Under 35” Fiction Selection. We Need New Names was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize and the Guardian First Book Award, and selected to the New York Times Notable Books of 2013 list, the Barnes and Noble Discover Great New Writers list, and others. NoViolet’s story “Hitting Budapest” won the 2011 Caine Prize for African Writing.

Natasha Moni's debut poetry collection is The Cardiologist's Daughter. Her poetry, fiction, essays, and reviews have been published in journals including: DIAGRAM, Verse, Indiana Review, Fourteen Hills, Rattle, and Defenestration.

David Gborie is a member of Sylvan Productions and the Business. As a comedian he’s appeared at The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, SF Indie Fest, and Denver’s Too Much Funstival, as well as the SF Punchline, The Denver Comedy Works, and other impressive venues.

Mallory Ortberg is the founder of The Toast. She's also written for TheHairpin, Eco Salon, Slacktory and Gawker.

Writers With Drinks has won numerous "Best ofs" from local newspapers, and has been mentioned in 7x7, Spin Magazine and one of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City novels. The spoken word "variety show" mixes genres to raise money for local causes. The award-winning show includes poetry, stand-up comedy, science fiction, fantasy, romance, mystery, literary fiction, erotica, memoir, zines and blogs in a freewheeling format
