Non Stop Bhangra #120--2016 Kick Off
Non Stop Bhangra returns to its monthly ritual on January 30th. Come join the crew as we kick off our 2016 year with fiends, gratitude, happy vibes, and non stop dancing. A big thank you to the SF Bay Area community for rocking out with us in 2015 and we look forward to sharing another year of colorful and vibrant nights.

As always the nights journey will begin with an interactive, fun, Bhangra dance lesson followed with vibrant dance performances by the beautiful Dholrhythms Dance Company.
On the decks this month, Non Stop Bhangra's own DJ Jimmy Lovewill be joined by DJ Nix (Bol Punjab De) and special guest DJ Scoprio (LA) with live Dhol in the mix to spice things up. Beyond sound and dance, Non Stop Bhangra caters to your eyes all night with visuals by DJ Amar and live painting by Marcus Murray while NSB photographer Odell Hussey captures the magic.

So much more than a club night, Non Stop Bhangra has truly turned into one of a kind cultural experiences only found in the Bay Area featuring one of the most eclectic crowds seen on a dance floor. If you have never made it out to one, make 2016 the year you do!

Color Theme:

Blue! Join the crew and support the vibe by wearing your favorite shade of blue!

Prentice Grant: From Vauxhall to Legacy — The Rise of an Independent Hip-Hop Force

The first time Prentice Grant realized music could change his life, he was just a kid in Vauxhall, New Jersey, staring at the TV. Two kids not much older than him were on the screen — backwards clothes, fearless energy, commanding the world. It was Kris Kross performing “Jump.”And in that moment, something clicked. It wasn’t just the beat.It wasn’t just the crowd. It was the power. From that day forward, Prentice didn’t just listen to hip-hop — he became it.He sharpened his pen studying legends.…See More
