Event Description

Neon Indian
The brainchild of Alan Palomo, who's 2009 debut record Psychic Chasms not only earned the 20 year-old a spot on numerous year-end lists, but assisted the forming of a genre that, though known by a few names now (chillwave, hypnagogic pop, glo-fi,), summoned a very unique and specific electro-mangled sound. Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, and SPIN all praised Neon Indian for his adventurous new sound, and he was tapped to perform at top festivals like Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Sasquatch.

Poolside (Dj Set)
The L.A.-by-way-of-Denmark-and-San Francisco duo of Filip Nikolic and Jeffrey Paradise make music called "daytime disco," meaning they use many of discos well-known tropes like funky basslines, four-on-the-floor rhythms, Latin percussion, and glittery choruses, but it's a more relaxed and peaceful sound they produce.

Their Dj sets are well known for entrancing crowds with these laid-back disco grooves. Expect tons of bubbling synths, interlocking guitars, and dusty percussion fills; then mix them all together into a tropical cocktail that will knock you into a coma after your first few sips.

Musically they can take you on a journey where Steely Dan is remixed by Larry Levan; Donna Summer is drunk on cough syrup, and Neil Young's "Harvest Moon" is gently plucked from the country and gets you slow dancing to a beautiful end-of-the-night jam. Throughout the night this duo can also turn up the heat, with pumping basslines, spunky - midtempo electric boogie, and songs that sounds something like the Eagles jamming with Chic.

Cole Lumpkin Moves With the Music, Letting Life Shape Every Note

Cole Lumpkin doesn’t create from a distance. He creates from inside the moment. As a New York City native, his artistry reflects motion, curiosity, and constant self-interrogation. Music for Lumpkin isn’t something you step into once everything is figured out. It’s something you carry with you, refine on the move, and allow to grow alongside real life. A self-taught…See More

Prentice Grant: From Vauxhall to Legacy — The Rise of an Independent Hip-Hop Force

The first time Prentice Grant realized music could change his life, he was just a kid in Vauxhall, New Jersey, staring at the TV. Two kids not much older than him were on the screen — backwards clothes, fearless energy, commanding the world. It was Kris Kross performing “Jump.”And in that moment, something clicked. It wasn’t just the beat.It wasn’t just the crowd. It was the power. From that day forward, Prentice didn’t just listen to hip-hop — he became it.He sharpened his pen studying legends.…See More
