Event Description

MOVES COLLECTIVE AND HOT MOUNTAIN DIPS. MOVES COLLECTIVE AND HOT MOUNTAIN DIPS. Check it out ya ll! This is a Killer Double Bill Show of Headliner Rockin Bands at BooM BooM RooM. ** MOVES COLLECTIVE ** and ** HOT MOUNTAIN DIPS ** Moves Collective has been movin bodies and souls all over the west with their own brand of Ameridelic music; an exciting new breed of americana and psychedelic rock. They are dedicated to creating a unique environment for the crowd every night, and it is with much excitement they pair up with the heavy hitting Hot Mountain Dips to explore one of the best San Francisco venues again. A night of funk, rock, and improvisation will blend a psychedelic stew you won t want to miss at the Boom Boom Room! MOVES COLLECTIVE Recipients of Best Americana in 2017 at the San Diego Music Awards, Moves Collective currently consists of Tim Norton on guitar, Isaac Lopez on bass, Paul Chuey on two saxophones at once and more, Josh Nathan on drums, and Andrew Lundsford on keyboards and synthesizers. Like String Cheese Incident or Leftover Salmon, they pride themselves on their dynamic repertoire that bridges the psychedelic and Americana worlds. Ameridelic! HOT MOUNTAIN DIPS The Hot Mountain Dips stay true to the classic San Francisco music scene providing free-form funkified blues fusion similar to the improvisation-heavy bands of the 60 s and 70 s. The dips create a show atmosphere where heckling and Hot Dips! chants are always recommended. Their originals have taken the bay-area by storm, blossoming from this particular union of friends and talent that dips deep down into that greasy loud rock and roll of generations past. Constantly striving to be atypical, the dips feature lead vocalist Dennis Mill on drums, harmonica tones not yet heard before from Dave Nanstad, and ripping bass and guitar lines from Zach Partain and Steve Zisman. The dips played some very memorable shows in the bay recently with Jason Hann (String Cheese Incident), Stu Allen (Phil & Friends/Mars Hotel), Jay Lane (Primus/Ratdog), Mike Clark (Herbie Hancock & the Headhunters), and Mad Alchemy Liquid Lite Projections. As the most dedicated dipheads say, never miss the dips!.
