Kev Choice Ensemble will be performing live at Stern Grove Festival in SF opening for Mavis Staples on August 27th, 2pm-5pm. We want all our Oakland and Bay Area fam to come out ans support this amazing event and accomplishment! Get out there early, get a good spot, and enjoy an amazing show!
Kev Choice Ensemble is a jazz/hip-hop/funk band led by Oakland-based pianist, emcee, producer, and music historian Kev Choice.
Kev Choice Ensemble will perform a new musical piece as part of this season’s Interplay - Local Artist Commission Series.
Closing the show out will be Mavis Staples!!
Mavis Staples is living, breathing history. She is an alchemist of American music, having continuously crossed genre lines like no musician since Ray Charles.
Show is FREE and OPEN to all, but EARLY arrival is highly suggested!!!!!
