Come check Emcee/ Lyricist Ras Ceylon LIVE for his first solo feature performance at beautiful Ashkenaz in Berkeley, CA. You know Ras Ceylon for his conscious and crucial rap lyrics and his community activism throughout Oakland and around the bay area. He is performing his hits "Betta Be Ready" and "The Question ?" off of his newly released Gideon Force vol 1 album, now you will see him perform live mixing his reggae vibe with hip-hop uncompared and uncompromised for 2011.
Representing the Universal Zulu Nations All Tribes Chapter and SlumGods, Mandeep Sethi is a young emcee now living in and taking over San Francisco. Using hip-hop as a form of retaliation and resistance against capitalist and imperialist oppression, Mandeep's primary focus is to educate the youth about the circumstances in which we are living in and resonate ancient culture within them, revealing the gods in all of us. Age Scott will also be performing and showcasing his comic and all original art pieces. Giveaways throughout the night from our feature DJ.
