**Got a birthday that weekend?! Get in touch with us and we'll help you celebrate it with a BANG!**

San Francisco has a diverse disco scene that often crosses over but not often enough! The goal of Go BANG! is to bring the crews and their devoted dancers together in a mixed, diverse, exciting environment, with a nod to the diversity and freedom of the 70's/80's San Francisco/New York/Chicago disco nightlife!

Disco freaks, art school boys & girls, drag queens & kings, boogie-heads, fierce dancers, flashy dressers, sexy girls, hot boys, DJs, dancers, photographers, artists, fashionistas; gay/straight/bi/tri/whateva! Bring your flashiest, trashiest, classiest, sexiest, craziest style; but bring an open mind, big smile, and shoes that will allow you to dance from opening to last call! We will start with fire and end with fire!

Taking inspiration from the classic Dinosaur L. song
"I wanna see all my friends at once
I'll do anything to get a chance to
Goooo BANG!"

**Premiering TRES LINGERIE as Go BANG's New Residents!**
Performing a DJ Set & their First LIVE Performance EVER, featuring James Anthony!

With a friendship that budded over modular synthesizers, Jordan Presnick & Johan Churchill nestled into Tres Lingerie in the summer of 2009 as a Berkeley-based electro-dance funk duo. Aside from their original productions, they have been making a name in the Disco Preservation scene with AMAZING re-edits of obscure disco tracks, which are now in many a DJ's bags. They have begun performing live with vocalist & dancer James Anthony, with their first ever live performance at Go BANG! May 2010. Shared inspiration comes from all styles of dance music but specifically from early electronic Garage, the twilight of disco, the early days of MIDI, and dancefloor-oriented soul from the 1970's through the 1980's during the rise of house music.

SPECIAL GUEST: SMAC (Sean McHenry)
SMAC first suspected he was a robot from outer space when his "parents" gave me some old cassettes of Detroit's late night Electrifying Mojo radio show. But after moving to Germany and becoming familiar with Hague electro label boss/producer I-F's italo-heavy Cybernetic Broadcast System, he knew. SMAC tries to bring a European discotheque feel - think sweaty Munich nights when cut-off jeans, hairspray, and mustaches were actually cool. Singers who can't speak English, but sing in English anyways. Intergalactic love ballads and big disco sound from Europe which couldn't always afford a full string-orchestra, but had enough lire to pick up a DX7.

Cole Lumpkin Moves With the Music, Letting Life Shape Every Note

Cole Lumpkin doesn’t create from a distance. He creates from inside the moment. As a New York City native, his artistry reflects motion, curiosity, and constant self-interrogation. Music for Lumpkin isn’t something you step into once everything is figured out. It’s something you carry with you, refine on the move, and allow to grow alongside real life. A self-taught…See More

Prentice Grant: From Vauxhall to Legacy — The Rise of an Independent Hip-Hop Force

The first time Prentice Grant realized music could change his life, he was just a kid in Vauxhall, New Jersey, staring at the TV. Two kids not much older than him were on the screen — backwards clothes, fearless energy, commanding the world. It was Kris Kross performing “Jump.”And in that moment, something clicked. It wasn’t just the beat.It wasn’t just the crowd. It was the power. From that day forward, Prentice didn’t just listen to hip-hop — he became it.He sharpened his pen studying legends.…See More
