COLETTE & DJ HEATHER back to back ALL NIGHT!

SIDE ROOM HOSTED BY PINK MAMMOTH

Colette and DJ Heather are two of the most celebrated artists on the Om Records roster, working around the globe on recording projects and in concerts with such artists as Depeche Mode, Derrick Carter and Greenskeepers.. Highly recommended. - Rick Anderson, All Music Guide

Famous for her jazzy, alto voice, Colette’s exemplary DJ skills have been well documented. With the release of her first mix CD, IN THE SUN on underground Chicago label AfterHours in 1999, her tireless work ethic and crowd-pleasing sets culminated in Colette winning the “Breakthrough DJ” award at the 2003 US Dancestar Awards in Miami. Colette’s music has found many fans in the world of advertising as well. “Feelin’ Hypnotized” has been prominently featured in a global Motorola campaign alongside legendary DJs Felix Da Housecat and Paul Van Dyk. The spot walked away with the “Best Song in a Commercial” award at the 2004 US Dancestar Awards. A restless spirit always seeking new ways to share her love of genuine house music, Colette co-hosted the nationally syndicated radio show “Maximum Rotation.” She and on-air partner Kevin Dees produced the show from the highly influential KIIS-FM radio station in Los Angeles from 2001 through 2004. That same spirit has led to Colette’s latest achievement: Successfully launching the fledgling Candy Talk record label, a goal Colette has had for the better part of a decade.

DJ Heather has become one of the Windy City’s main DJ exports. An artist who defies conformity and defines quality, the Blackcherry label boss was named one of Chicago’s Top Forty-Five Artists alongside Kanye West, Billy Corgan and Green Velvet. Following worldwide accolades, in 2007 Om Records announced 'Summer Sessions 2' mixed by Om family members DJ Heather and Onionz. In 2008 she joined fellow Om label artists Colette, Fred Everything and Andy Caldwell on the 'House of Om' tour. At the top of 2009 Heather teamed up with Colette to kick off their annual 3-month tour in the Americas featuring the two stellar artists performing back to back to hundreds of excited fans each night! Amidst her busy touring schedule, DJ Heather has been tweeking her studio and working on various releases while promoting her Blackcherry label in the digital realm.
