Rakim, your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper, received the short film treatment in honor of his pivotal impact in hip-hop titled Words By Rakim.

Directed by Matt Bieler, the black-and-white visual takes a look at how the “Know The Ledge” MC’s native New York City helped guide his lyrical prowess, and the inspiration behind his songwriting skills.
