The LOX have shown off the chemistry, charisma and well-rehearsed synergy that has made them one of the greatest rap groups of all time while making their Tiny Desk Concert debut.
The Yonkers trio ran through some of their biggest hits during the intimate performance for NPR, putting special twists on classics such as “Money, Power, Respect,” “Recognize” and Jadakiss‘ “We Gonna Make It.”
Despite not being known for performing with a live band, The LOX recruited Jack White’s drummer Daru Jones for assistance, as well as vocalist Le’Asha plus Tiny Desk Concert veterans Carrtoons and Kiefer on bass and piano, respectively.
