Nowadays, rappers feel like it's necessary to brag about not writing their rhymes during their sessions, in some way, following in the footsteps of Jay Z's technique. Some say even Biggie started the same method after witnessing Jay record without a notepad in hand. Well, to get to the bottom of it, we mentioned to R.A. the Rugged Man an interview we did with DJ Clark Kent and how he explained Big's amazement that Jay didn't write down his rhymes, and from that very moment stopped writing down his own too. Although R.A. says he witnessed Biggie write his raps when working with him, he doesn't doubt that Jay may have motivated him to stop.
