Kayscend is a word used to describe the flow or rhythm of events. Ascend describes a rising through the air. Kayscend had that in mind when picking her surname to describe her rhythmic movement of musical expression.
Born in Brooklyn, NY to Puerto Rican parents and later transplanted to Goulds/Cutler Ridge, FL in her childhood years. This singer/songwriter overcame many trials and tribulations to become the powerhouse she is today. Many say her style is reminiscent of the late great Aaliyah mixed with Ashanti/Mariah Carey sprinkled with some jazz undertones.
Some of her current accomplishments include over 90,000 views on YouTube with her premiere single with artist Iamjopaul "Wanna get drunk". She worked as an in house songwriter for Midtown Studios for roughly a year rubbing shoulders with some of Miami's finest including Gorilla Tek. She also has a highly anticipated EP said to release in the next month. It is rumored to have mystery features from a few of Miami's hottest artists. This is Miami's new powerhouse singer. Many great things expected to come from KAYD3NCE in 2018.
