Landon Gregory Anderson, known Artistically as Gregory Goldwire was born in Fairfax Virginia on September 14th 1990. Living in Maryland with his mother father and older sister. Landon still recalls his first album be was given by his mother as a child KrisKross "Totaly Krossed out ". Listening to adolescents rhyme seemed so relatable such a young age, fell in love with the music surrounding him and he mimicked the sound. It was shortly after his younger brother was born and a sudden family disturbance would erupt forcing his mother, his new born brother and himself to move to South Florida. It was on these long road highway excursions to "home" where Landon would listen and be soothed by the eclectic variations of music his mother would play. He instantly found emotional and powerful comfort in every record played. It was in the 4th grade where he wrote his first song for a school talent show. Throughout middle school he would compete in talent shows with his friends in a group called LBC (Lil ballers Crew ). High school came along and he would take time between classes or lunch to make a beat on the tables and battle or showcase bars for onlookers where he earned the nickname "Bonafide". 5 Friends of his with similar interests would form a group called Yung Mikz. As time progressed only two were left in the group (Landon, and close friend Derek) After graduation landon went off to college back in Baltimore participating in organized hip hop battles. Shortly he would realize that he wanted to come back to South Florida and try to make things happen with Yung Mikz and his cousin as the latest addition. "Dawn of the Dope"would be their first complete project to be released. The trio would spend countless nights recording and doing shows all over south Florida. Soon after they would change their name to The SkyyWalkerz . Releasing a project in 2012 entitled APXI which received great feedback throughout the city. 4 years and many trials and tribulations later, Goldwire is determined to pick up where he and his brothers left off. This time telling his story from a life and city that taught him so much. He hopes to help, motivate, touch, and impact every single one of his listeners thru his message to keep dreaming and always Stay True.
