Rita Ora, the famed British singer, who has been in the news recently over her outfits starting from her cleavage showing on an European talk show to the Oscars where she was dressed in a hot scantily clothe outfit with no panties to wearing the same pink latex outfit as Kim, Ora stays in the news and she hits the wire again but this time for a different reason.

The song is called "Ora" and is already receiving some online buzz on Soundcloud and Youtube, it starts off with a thumping bassline and chords before you hear the male voice come in going "I make her sing like Rita Ora/ Body shaped like Coca-Cola/ Booty softer than a sofa". At first, it has a similar energy and feel to O.T. Genasis hit song "CoCo" but is differentiated by a unique style/voice. It was made by Atlanta based rapper/producer called TKO Tamanji.

“It was not created as an ode to Rita Ora per sey,” TKO says. On his previous recordings, he admits, “I was doing everything I could to make music that had a lyrical punch with a southern flow and bounce. Musically speaking, I just got in a space where I said f***k it, and let things start to flow both lyrically and melodically.”

TKO has been writing and producing songs for a number of years, but kept them hidden away even though he had previous releases featuring producer Dun Deal & upcoming 2 chainz artist Cap-1. “At the time, I just didn't feel like a lot of these records where ready for mass consumption, I personally felt as an artist I needed more time to grow and let my skill build.”

However, the birth of this song inspired a major change in heart of TKO. This song came about during a session: “I was sitting in the studio with my producer Brick when he played this beat, and it was that feeling you get in the city when you just pulled the baddest b***h or at least you feeling the confidence to do so “. The result is a stunning candid, sensuous and precise…song about our generation, our love for the appeal of the bad b***h, the lust for life as seen from the vantage point of our age.

Producer Bricks recorded the song and a group of others together in his half completed studio, which is still under construction and probably that's what contributes to the song’s intimate, candid and passionate feel. TKO reflects on the experience: “I’d never worked so fast, so boldly, so excitedly in a studio. The result are songs that showcase how I feel with ease and grace, allow me to mess with new patterns, melodies and cadences. I'm used to working in fully established studios so this gave me a gritty, hungry and gotta get it type of feel which comes through in the tracks.”

The song, which was released on iTunes and other digital stores late last month, has inspired critical raves, lots of plays in a short time on Soundcloud (over 40k in a week), and spins from Djs at hot spots in the city of Atlanta and surroundig areas.

TKO will showcase material from his upcoming project and would continue to drop more material and singles as the movement grows.
In the meantime go find out if there's any hype to it:
