Hip Hop Aint'Dead, Just OverLooked!

February 5, 2015 Atlanta Ga. In the south there are many "One Hit Wonders". These artist and their novelty songs seem to appear out of nowhere. After about a 3 - 6 month run they disappear.Atlanta/Savannah Ga emerging rap artist J Blaque, prides himself on staying true to the art form and not being a part of the "microwave trend"(in and out).

J Blaque recently release his Mixtape entitled "Paying Homage". The Mixtape is an Ode to the pioneers that played a big part in bringing Hip Hop to the forefront. The vibe of this jewel definitely make you want to go back to the times when rap was creative and fun. J Blaque brings flavor to "Paying Homage" by dropping 16 bar freestyles over old school tracks . The blends of original 80's rap songs as well, will be sure to keep the listeners attention.

"Hip Hop ain't dead as people and some critics proclaim. It is ignored and overlooked. there is still a fan base for "Real" M.C. 's . Its a shame how these "1-2 hit wonders" Seem to over shadow true lyricists that still bring creativity to the culture."

J Blaque
Artist/songwriter

"Paying Homage is a classic in my eyes. Young people need to download it listen. they will learn a'lot about hip hop just from this one mixtape.
