- July 10, 2010, Faktor 1 Band, was formed with the orginators: Mr. Marcus Smith, Mr. Davd E. Saffell, and Ms. Lisa Morgan.
The Faktor 1 Band, which is the meaning of lyrics/music facts brought together as One. In music the band brings together everyone original songs, to which the songs are inspired by what we as people go through in our everyday lives. From this dynamic and memerizing band you will hear melodic, harmonies with a twist of Ole-school, to New school music, you will be amazed, and dazzled !!!
Faktor 1 Band, consists of seven members:
Marcus Smith: (Musical Director, Producer, Keyboards Songwriter, lead/background vocals). Marcus, has worked with various artists and band from the Hawaii to California such as the RNB legendary: Whispers produced song called: Driving me Crazy on the album Toast to the Ladies. Mr Grady Wilkins from the Whispers, TWO band, Mr Lloyd Gregory, and many other artists.
David E. Saffell: (Manager, Percusionist, Drums, Producer lead/background vocals) has played with various jazz artists, and artists such as the Promatics, from Oakland, CA. David, is a dynamic drummer and will leave you breathless with a twist of funk, jazz...
LisaRenee:(Lead/Background vocalist, songwriter, Producer, Promoter, Coordinator) Ms Lisa Renee, comes from a family of gospel singers from Newark, New Jersey. LisaRenee, has powerhouse-mezzo soprano voice, and written several songs LisaRenee, has worked with various artists singing background and lead with Mr.Grady Wilkins, from the Whispers, with the (Motown) Philly Soul Legends Revue and bay area own Ms Lolita Sweet.
Andre Marshall: (MD, bass guitarist, lead guitar, lead/background vocalists, songwriter, producer) this multitalented brother has it all.. Andre has played with various artists, Stefani and a band called Freaky Executives, back in the day and still holds his own, and will take you to a music place that is exquiste !!!!Faktor 1 Band, inspired to share music all over the world with influences of Chaka Khan, Sly and Family Stone, Whispers, Erykah Badu, Prince, The Thyme, Beyounce, Mary J. Blige, Rick James, Lauryn Hill, Santana, Teena Marie, Mr James Brown, Side Effect/Ronnie Laws and many other artists... Faktor 1Band, is a combination to top artists to local artists around the bay, with creative people coming together.. There's nothing we can't accomplish... Bringing it to you live on the ONE- Faktor 1 Band !!!!!
