Big Noise is Entertainment is taking pre-orders on customized MPC-2000XL units by Noiseman. These units are upgraded with 100MB ZIP drives, they are also upgraded with 32MB of internal memory. The unit shown is a prototype crafted from African Lace wood, the actual units will be available in three flavors; bamboo, purple heart and African Lace wood. The units are upgraded with extra large rubber feet, black drum pads, black knobs and slider. These units are also equipped with a highly proprietary damping system under the pad actuators to reduce physical bounce and enhance drum hit accuracy.
