Rob Blach (DJ Raw B) has been lurking throughout the Bay Area hip hop scene since 1993 when he started co-hosting, producing, and deejaying on KUSF's award winning (1998 SF Bay Guardian Goldie Award and 1997 SF Weekly 'Best of the Bay') hip hop mix show Beatsauce KUSF 90.3 (along with Wisdom and J-Boogie). He has worked as an intern for Sway (Wake Up Show) on KMEL's morning Breakfast Club, and throughout SF's underground hip hop scene. He toured as part of the now defunct hybrid band Brougham (Warner Bros.), dropped cuts on the live version of Smashmouth's (Interscope) 'All Star' for the Ratrace movie soundtrack, as well as a role with the band in the movie. He co-produced the track 'Backbone' with DJ Zeph on Cue's Hip Hop Shop Vol. 2 (Stray) and 'Tattooed Brain' on the Turntables by the Bay compilation (Hip Hop Slam). He was voted Local Club DJ' in the SF Bay Guardian Best of the Bay 2001.
