Watch The Beastie Boys Discuss Adam Yauch Stage-Crashing Aerosmith & The Origins Of The Band's Name On 'Fallon'

The Beastie Boys‘ Beastie Boys Book is now officially out and the remaining members recently took to Jimmy Fallon to talk about it.
Mike D and Ad-Rock both appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Wednesday night, where they talked about the book, as well as shared other stories about the group and the late Adam Yauch.
There were two notable stories the pair shared about Yauch. The first one was about how he stage-crashed an Aerosmith performance while the rap group was on tour with Run-D.M.C. The Beastie Boys were opening up for D.M.C. around the time their Aerosmith collab track “Walk This Way” was a hit. Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry were scheduled to perform the song alongside D.M.C. during a show in Miami and the late Jam Master Jay had volunteered to play bass on the song.
