We’ve spent a good portion of the weekend listening to Mac Miller‘s music in remembrance of his life after his tragic passing on Friday. Though we’re still sad for what happened, it has been awesome to see so many celebrities celebrating his legacy the past few days, with folks like Elton John, Childish Gambino, J. Cole and others paying tribute to him in concert.
The day before he passed, this live video of Mac performing “Hurt Feelings” surfaced on his YouTube channel, as he performed the SWIMMING single at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood for an intimate crowd. The clip was recorded in support of his upcoming tour and served as a preview of what fans were supposed to see in October, with a band fully backing Miller. It sounded great.
It’s an eerie and tough watch considering what happened, but still appreciated.
Rest in power Mac.
