Earlier this month, the Montreal producer blessed the stage at Pitchfork Music Festival’s Parisian installation. And now, a video of the full performance has been released for those unable to catch the cross-pond set. Kaytra blazes through classic and unreleased edits, including a new remix of Anderson .Paak‘s “Bubblin’,” as well as Roy Ayers‘ late boogie grail, “Chicago.”
Kaytranada released his debut album, 99.9%, at the of summer 2016 and has sporadically shared new remixes on his Soundcloud page in the months since, while offering new artists Shay Lia and Lou Phelps (his brother,) buoyant productions to jumpstart their own trajectories. He was also prominently featured on Mick Jenkins’ 2018 album, Pieces of a Man.
You can watch Kaytranada’s full set from Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris below. Hold tight for his next transmission.
